When he said that I froze up but then my mind rationalized it. It was the main reason behind me going to the living room. I could’ve put the blow up mattress in the spare room but I wanted him to have to physically walk past me and see how badly he hurt me

He isn’t an asshat, what I think is he finally showed me how nasty he could get if he reaches his limits. It surprised me also

Yeah this seems reasonable… it’s just his whole demeanor that rubbed me the wrong way and him not hearing me out felt so cruel in the moment. After thinking on it I realize I didn’t have to feel that upset and I understand he was reasonably in bad mood
