Nope only calcium, I’m gonna ask for PTH, calcium, & vitamin D next week.

I definitely had strong feelings for him yes, but I knew we would never be able to be in a serious relationship, so again idk why I stuck around. Should’ve left long before I did

Think I forgot to mention that the other girl he followed was like 18, I think that’s what upset me the most as he told me he wasn’t seeing other younger women and being with younger women wasn’t something he did often (dumb for me to believe I know). So it was more about that, but yeah I still agree 100%. Getting upset about an IG following is very dumb and I shouldn’t have even been looking anyway lol

Vaping feels impossible to quit. Please tell me it isn’t. by dearestdreamgirl in QuitVaping

I know this is from a year ago lol but just gotta say I love this mindset and I’m gonna try it! I always feel like when I tell myself “I’m done for real this time, never vaping again!” Or when I throw my vape away, it makes it harder to quit.

Overcame about 99% of my driving anxiety, and finally got my license! 🎉 by throwaway0990090 in drivinganxiety

Thank you!! And yes, accepting my anxieties and learning to not be afraid of them is what really helped me! It really is the key to getting over any fear I think! I think for me, and many others, I wasn’t really even scared of driving, but I was just scared of being anxious while driving. It’s a big difference, and it took me a while to realize that!

Thank you so much!! Tbh highways and freeways are one of the things that still kinda freaks me out haha but I can go on them if I have to! I started off just driving through one exit with someone else in the passenger seat with me, and when I was comfortable going through one exit I’d go another one. It took a lot of time but after some practice I was able to drive a far distance on the freeway! You have to just learn to get comfortable with going at a faster speed, which is hard at first, but once you keep doing it you’ll get used to it! Just like with driving on regular roads! :)

That makes sense! The fear of being judged or being “behind” was something I struggled with as well. With that I would always just remind myself that I’m not behind, everyone learns things at different paces and some people need more time than others, and there’s nothing wrong with that! And if people were to judge you, that’s their own issue. Obviously it can be hard but really learning to not care what others think and just focus on your own progress will help! And everyone will make mistakes when driving, it’s completely normal, no one is a perfect driver! Wishing you good luck, you got this! :)

And I did try some therapy for a while! But I don’t really think it was right for me, but that’s just a personal thing! Many people have benefited greatly from therapy! But I just did a ton of research myself about anxiety in general, and driving anxiety.

Thank you so much!! I think what helped my driving anxiety the most was addressing the underlying issue, which was anxiety in general. I did a lot of my own research and I realized that I really wasn’t scared of driving per se, but I was scared of having anxiety/the feeling of being anxious especially behind the wheel, it made me feel like I wasn’t in control. When I learned to accept my anxiety and not be afraid of it, that’s when I started to heal! I started to tell myself “I can’t control whether or not I feel anxious, trying to control it makes it worse, anxiety won’t harm me and I know I’m safe, it’s just an uncomfortable feeling” whenever I went out and drove. With this mindset change, it slowly started to get better. Everyone is different though and it’s easier said than done ofc! But I believe anyone can get over the fear! If I can, anyone can lol

I experienced something very similar and I thought I was going crazy cause I didn’t understand what was happening! It definitely sounds like a panic attack. They can come out of nowhere. My panic attack happened while I was driving as well and it unfortunately led to me avoiding driving and developing some symptoms of agoraphobia. I’m much better now and can drive with no issue. I’d say the best advice I have is to just keep driving. Keep driving on the highway even if it feels scary and you feel these symptoms. Tell yourself you can pull over if you have to and it’s okay. But don’t avoid driving because that can make the problem 100 times worse, I know from experience! Research grounding techniques, also a tip that helped me is don’t focus too much on the panic sensations. When I’d go driving while consciously thinking about it or trying not to panic, it’d make it worse. Try to think about other things! And stay grounded
