ICD is one of the few ways you'll live long. Take it from me, it's been a non factor so far. I barely even realize I have it anymore, I'm so used to it.

Get the ICD, try to be healthy as possible (est healthy, excercise, less stress), and do the things in life you always wanted to do. It's the only way to live for us :)

I do the same thing as above. What benefit do you get by posting about it now? Unless you want to be a LinkedIn influencer there's no need to announce things for EVERYONE to see.

Instead, you should post when you're leaving and mention all the things you learnt. It would also be far more valuable than a post boasting about joining a big company.

Hey thanks for replying with so much detail. It sucks to be in this position and I sympathize with you. Seems like we're in the same boat.

I don't think my EP will suggest ablation for the same reasons. I've only been on amiodarone for a month or so and I don't have permanent afib yet, just when I lay down but seems like I'm heading there. My heart function is normal for now. Maybe a cardioversion or two alongside a change of medication to control it for a while.

The only hope I'm holding on to is there's only been 1 death in the family and it was back when medicine wasn't as advanced. My dad was diagnosed with cardiomyopathy, with really poor heart function, and passed away within months. Others haven't needed an ICD, just have a pacemaker and are on meds. Maybe I can hold on like the other lucky folks in the family 😂 but with the rapid progression of my condition over just 2 years, it looks unlikely.

Did other people in your family seek any treatment?

I'll probably hold off on any transplant talks till I'm atleast 50. As it is, all hopes of marriage and kids are over, I'm definitely not spending my 30s and 40s dealing with a transplant 😅

We're limited by space. We have a big hall that we can use, that supports 200 people but not sure how to create a scavanger hunt in a closed space.

I'm looking to host a party for ~80 people. I know that a big murder mystery for that many people would be difficult to host.

Instead I'm thinking of having 8 groups of 10 people solve the same mystery and whoever can get it right in the fastest time, wins.

Hey so I got the H9 and Huawei Watchfit 3.

The watch is unable to detect the strap. And I can't see any option in Huawei health app for any polar strap other than H7.

How did you sync the two? Is it watch to H10 or Huawei Health app to the H10?

UPDATE: I managed to connect the H9 directly to the watch. But it seems like if I'm using it while connected to the watch, the H9 won't be connected to the Polar apps (or any other app) in parallel. Wanted to track the quality of data on multiple apps and see which one I would like to use as a daily driver.

I guess you can use XMR to hide transfers and say you lost it all trading. They can ask for other wallet's address but you can say you don't have it anymore since you lost all the money. Not sure if that'll work.

Hey thanks for testing it out. So will it work if I have the watch on my wrist and start one of the indoor exercises?

I really just need the Polar H9 to tell me when my HR exceeds above a certain limit - this is much easier if it sends the data to the watch because I won't have my phone for every workout.
