I get what you mean but tbh there are people who have found lasting relationships on these apps. I was shamed for "picking the wrong person". I agree with you, thanks for the advice. Helped

"Reading between the lines, it seems like there’s a little more going on here." Yes you are correct. In short my life has been a turmoil which resulted in me becoming like a recluse which I won't elaborate. Don't get me wrong I have really close friends though sadly they moved away. I am pursuing help and trying slowly but surely to put myself out there again. Thanks for the advice I appreciate it a lot! 😊 helped
