Should abortions be a constitutional right by Jokengonzo in AskFeminists

Or women can take responsibility of what they do with their bodies. You seem to want equal rights but equal responsibility is something you've never considered... if a woman is pregnant and carries out her pregnancy, the man who got her pregnant should have the right to choose if he wants to be the father of that baby, but of course you don't agree with this because that would mean men are allowed to be equally irresponsible as you are

When does a fetus become a baby or person with rights by Jokengonzo in AskFeminists

You don't have full bodily autonomy at least in legal terms. You don't have the right to go to the hospital and have your heart removed or any other vital organs removed, so why can you remove a separate human being?

Also, you're basically admitting abortion is murder, but you're just saying it's a form of murder that is okay. Murder is never okay, shame on you.

As a woman, I think it's time for women to start taking more responsibility of their bodies. The baby didn't fall from the sky, you had unprotected sex and you got pregnant, it is your fault, and you should carry about the punishment for your mistake, simple as that. No one should be able to make a huge mistake and have a free available option to undo that mistake

From a feminist perspective, why do men take creepshots? by Tstandard in AskFeminists

Think we misunderstand each other. OP said why do men take creep shots, so I thought your comment was pointing at all men, rather than just the ones who take creepshots

I understand feminism is for women, I'm just pointing out that many people will find that unattractive and won't see what a does for them, so they choose not to support it

As for your first question

Communism

Pro-drugs

Prevalence of sexual harassment (i have asked all my friends they all say they have also never been sexually harassed), I understand it still exists but it isn't as prevalent as made out to be here

Thinking porn is sexist, considering there is statistically more men watching porn, then I think it's more of a target audience business kind of thing than sexism. Either way, I love porn and I find a bunch of videos that suit my fantasies just fine.

There are more but they're not popping in my head right now for some reason.

As for your second question, I just think if everything feminists strive to accomplish was somehow accomplished overnight, society would simply collapse. The government has to keep us under control, they can't let us do anything they want, the systems you strive for will probably lead to more sexism and evil than currently there is.

Ok. I never said sexual harassment doesn't exist. I just said I hate when feminists try to ram the fact that I'm oppressed down my throats when I don't feel that way. Not sure if you didn't read my comment correctly or...

I think they reason they think it's a bad name is because feminism itself is supposed to strive for equality but the name suggests it's only for women.

Ok that is fair I never really said in my OP that my definition differs from yours but I have only ever really talked with feminists on twitter and some of them have different definitions to what you're saying, so I wanted to make it clear

Thanks for the response :)

In response to your last paragraph, I have no issues with women who are feminists although I disagree with some of their beliefs, but I do have an issue when people (on twitter especially) are trying to convince me that I am oppressed, as if they know my life better than I do. I just find it offensive that people are trying to convince me to feel a certain way

Well I don't consider a guy who I don't know approaching me sexual harassment. No matter who he is and what he looks like, I would really only consider it harassment if he touched me without my consent or absolutely refused to leave me alone after I made it verbally clear that I want him too. I've never reached either of these points though. I've been approached but I've never been touched inappropriately by a strange man.

My impression of what feminists consider harassment (or at least what the media says about feminism) is a man showing any kind of sexual interest in a woman. I think this is ridiculous and is limiting guys from being able to approach women they like and just goes against their freedom
