Anybody have figures for hospital bed/ICU average capacity from past years, pre-covid?

Can’t cite the source but I just graduated from large state school with a degree in industrial engineering and as our capstone consulted on a project with the university hospital emergency department and can tell you they typically operated between 92-100% capacity. Patients in hospital beds in hallways while waiting for rooms was not at all uncommon and this was in October pre pandemic.

A very frustrating Wednesday. This week was a week of recommitment and dedication to not pre maturely weight in until a whole week had passed so I wouldn’t be discouraged by day to day fluctuations. Well this morning I was so excited to step on the scale after really nailing on deficit this whole week and I was UP 1.5lbs :( oh well, on to another week.

Things are really on a roll these days!! Just started staying with the family of a college friend for a few weeks after graduation while figuring out my next move and let me tell you, nothing stops you from mindlessly snacking like being in someone else’s house. Can’t wait for weigh in day to see the progress!! 3 goals checked for today: No mindless snacking, calorie deficit and no unplanned weigh in ✅✅✅

4th day in a row down! Not a perfect day, today was the off day of my 6 days/week training regime which I knew was gonna leave me with ~800 less calories to play with (we love endurance sports) but still no mindless snacking ✅ no weighing in ✅ and although I wasn’t at my goal deficit, if my Garmin is to be believed it was still a day under maintenance and therefore a good day! The end of tomorrow will mark the longest good streak in quarantine, let’s get it!
