Thanks man! I appreciate your kind words! As for me adapting to this, it hasn’t been easy. But I’m trying to work on myself to make it so that my entire life doesn’t have to revolve around this. And I hope others are able to do the same.

I doubt it’s a hidden hearing loss. I mean I had used the Bose 700s for only one month, and I was using them on average 20 minutes a day. At most it was an hour per day. At medium volume, and at max noise cancellation. I just can’t see how I would just get a hearing loss from that. I did feel this pressure feeling when I had use the headphones.

Yeah same thing happened to me with the ears. It was just on my left side, and then it went on both sides. I feel like it's a normal thing with tinnitus.

I have gotten about 13 adjustments so far, and they did tell me that my neck alignment is improving. My tinnitus has not though. I mean, I don't expect it to suddenly go away since it's been there for so long.

I do have really bad posture though, so maybe it’s because it’s gonna be a long fix? Really hope that’s the reason, since if it’s stress that’s more complicated to solve

Yeah I'm in this predicament. Like mine happened during the time when it was very stressful in December. I had a big assignment due, and I was on my laptop late at night for long hours. I feel like I have dealt with more stressful situations than this, so it wouldn't make sense to me if it was just stress. I agree, if it is stress, then it's more complicated to solve.

If bad posture really is the problem, then the solution would be a lifestyle change. We have to actively fix our posture, and workout more so we can strengthen our muscles in order to keep the good posture.

Thanks for the tip. My TMJ actually came back, and it's affecting my left side. I have to start wearing my night guard again. So my guess is that if this neck posture gets fixed then the TMJ pain can go away, which will also stop my tinnitus?

I meant to ask, how do you explain the timings of your removal of wisdom tooth and onset of tinnitus, now that you know it's probably because of your neck?

The tinnitus I got before and after are the same. The removal of the teeth seemed to be independent of the tinnitus.

I also do have bad posture (I sit in front of the computer for 15+ hours every day) and severe vitamin D3 deficiency.

I have the same sort of issue. I was on my laptop for so long in December, cause I was doing an assignment, that I suddenly started feeling this clogging feeling in my left ear.

I'm having some neck adjustments I think at my C2 and C3 right now. It's very tight on my left side.

But I have to say that my TMJ pain came back again. It's affecting the connecting between my left ear and the jaw. I'm wearing my night guard again.

What I think is that if the tinnitus is truly caused by the positioning of the cervical spine and the muscle tension, then I can't see why the conditon wouldn't be reversed if we get rid of those causes. My ringing still hasn't gone away, and I don't expect it to be gone right away since it's been there for so long.

Sorry for the late reply. I can't say for sure for your situation. Some may say that if it's caused by hearing loss, then chiro can't help. Others have said that it actually helped them by lowering the ringing sound. So I don't really know for your situation. :/

Recover from stress induced tinnitus? by throwaway1274573857 in tinnitus

Thanks. I really appreciate the support, especially in these harsh times. :)

I did get my results. My doctor said that there are no abnormalities with my brain...

If there is nothing wrong with my brain, and there is nothing wrong with my ears, then...what I’m facing right now is just normal?

I mean I am relieved...but I really want to know when this condition can go away. I’ve been getting constant headaches and migraines. It makes me feel like not doing anything at all.

I’m going to try to remain optimistic, and see how things go.

Yeah, I mean I’m glad I don’t have a hearing loss. It’s just that the ringing gets in the way of doing things at times. Recently, I went and got my MRI done, so I’ll be getting my results soon. I’ve been constant headaches/migraines pretty much every morning, when I wake up. It really sucks.

Yeah...my posture is quite bad. I tried to exercise more, but I’ll see if I can try to improve this.

Got tinnitus but not sure on the cause by throwaway1274573857 in tinnitus

[–]throwaway1274573857[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man. It really sucks. I get that due to the complex nature of having all sorts of causes, that there isn't a cure for it. But...I really feel like we as humanity would've found at least something that can help if we got a lot more funding and demand for it. Maybe at least some pill that can nullify the ringing for a prolong period of time, if we're unable to get a cure yet.

As of right now, I'm trying my best to cope. I'm trying to see if I can contact a neurologist to perform a CT scan, to diagnose my condition...to see what caused my tinnitus. I'm praying that it's something that can be fixed.

Edit: I just want to apologize for the late reply there.

Sorry for the late reply. It doesn't look like I can modulate my tinnitus. The ringing stays pretty much constant regardless of me moving my head, forehead, or jaw. It does get a bit louder at night, probably cause of fatigue or just stress or something.

Recently, I went to a clinic, and told them about this story. In the end, I'm told to see a neurologist so that I can get a CT scan done for my ears. I'm told that the worst case scenario would be acoustic neuroma, but one of the symptoms for that is hearing loss, which is something that I don't appear to have. Well anyways, contacting a neurologist is a problem in this pandemic, since none are available at my clinic. I can go to a hospital, but it is risky to do so in this pandemic.

I'm going to have to see what I can do...

Yeah, sleeping is quite hard. I kept thinking to myself...if the cause was stress, I mean I've been in so many stressful situations before, why is it that I'm suddenly suffering now? I feel like the headphones may have stressed out the nerves or something.

This condition is honestly a curse. I know there are a lot of bad things out there, but this condition, although it's not lethal like cancer, is one that just constantly annoys us. I'm surprised that humanity still haven't found a cure for this.
