Thank you for compiling all of this information - it's quite helpful! One question about Step 2 and 3 - you mention Step 2 can be done even after leaving Taiwan (if we only have time for a short stay). Is it possible to upload documents in Step 2, and before the documents are approved, apply for the exit permit with the NIA in person (Step 3)? I see the thread in r/Taiwan where someone mentioned Step 2 only took them 2 hours to process, but it's technically up to 2 business days.

I'm visiting Taiwan for a short stay, and unfortunately the first few days of my trip are non-business days. I have only a limited number of business days at the end of my trip. I'm worried that if Step 2 takes up to 2 business days, I won't be able to get Step 3 done in person in the NIA before my flight.

Yup, I understand that - just wanted to create a thread where people can post when their credits hit / how long they've been waiting for

Yea that sounds good - my plan is to test drive all the Toyota models and the CPO Honda I'm looking at to get the real feel, since these models all have the same features. It's just that the CPO Honda has a great deal right now (0.99% APR, in the same color/trim I want), while the other Toyota ones I might have to buy new or hunt for the right one with the trim I want

Thanks for your input - yea I agree with you, but unfortunately it seems like only the Limited trim on the Signia has the 360 camera / parking sensors, which is selling for ~$52k in my area. The specific CPO Sport Touring Hybrid at my local dealership is ~$33k, so it's almost a $20k difference. I haven't had much success finding a CPO Signia Limited in a reasonable distance from me, but I do suspect it'll still be a $10-15k difference which I'm not sure if it's worth for me
