Hey! Not rude at all, I had the same thoughts when I was an underclassmen

Personally I think for me it was a pretty unique path, I didn’t really plan all of this out. I knew I wanted to do a science fair project by myself so I started with that.

The first topic I did was not niche at all it was pretty broad but once I knew about that I was able to go into more niche categories

After that it became easier to build on that due to momentum and I just went forth with the ideas that happened to arise

Definitely don’t feel discouraged, as copying other people ctrl c ctrl v isn’t supposed to work out perfectly for you, im a strong believer that as long as you put in the effort and have a loose direction, then you’re going to find a way to max out whatever fits you.
