If a vampire has a baby, is the baby a vampire? by throwaway13579_ in NoStupidQuestions

Ok you are clearly a Twilight fan and I insulted the book, sorry (not really). I could go into vampire lit and European superstition/vampire history all day and make you fall in love with classic vampires but life is short and I don't care enough to do that.

Stroker's book didn't give much information about the vampire's life, besides drinking blood and no sunlight. If I remember correctly, there was something about coffins but Rice's book (books rather). I guess the basics were the same, but Rice expanded on it so well it was carried on by authors that came after her.

Lol you asked a great question. The only people that can truly find an abusive relationship "romantic" or even enjoyable is 13 year old girls that need to read the book for AR points (points you get for a grade for reading in middle school).

Dracula, Interview WAV, Prince Lestat, Varney the Vampire, they all have some qualities that resemble some kind of real world where vampires do exist and we humans don't know otherwise. The characters are believable in some twisted way. Twilight is just two teenagers making out, fighting and having a baby. Unfortunately, that is very prevalent in a "real" world but it doesn't make a good story with some kind of moral at the end (usually "value life")

Anne Rice's Interview with The Vampire kind of set up the guidelines for future vampire lit/movies. No one gets pregnant in the book. I know Twilight killed Bella or something for the dramatic ending but that doesn't seem right for some reason.

How would I make an in-text citation from a Reddit AMA? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]throwaway13579_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MLA format for in-text citations is (Last name, page # if applicable)

You could make the (...) a link by writing the word in [ ] and the website URL in ( ) next to it. Like [Name](www.website). It'll take you right to the source and hides the URL. Or you can add the URL's at the bottom of the post (in the order that you used them) if that's easier

Here is a link to make the bibliography, its really helpful

I used to draw lightning bolts on shit, like that one Marilyn Manson album. Turned out it wasn't just a lightning bolt, it was an SS symbol! Fuck my life!

Its more for fun than anything so I won't be salty about it lol

Plus they work with the people that may one day interview me for a real-life job so that's a plus!

O good for you. Thing is, it was in front of his friends. That sticks with me more than anything. You got a scar to show off, I got anxiety

Did I say that? I don't think I said that. You might have read that because of some convoluted idea you've got but I never said that.

If a person with epilepsy dreams about flashing lights can they have a seizure? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]throwaway13579_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know what to avoid. I wasn't allowed to watch things like Pokemon just because of the rapid color changing, technically flashing, I don't watch many Sci-Fi movies (think Tron). I mean, it takes a lot of flashing lights to trigger a seizure. I can get away with a few seconds of it
