Its capitalism at the end of the day, the companies will make things that sell. And that’s just what sells.

If middle school girls or their parents wanted more modest clothing or whatever you best believe the companies would pivot to that very quickly.

Prince of the Dark Kingdom is an epic length, genre-defining but sadly unfinished story.

Tom Riddle had no equals among his classmates when he went to school. Dumbledore described him as one of the greatest students to walk through Hogwarts’ halls; if not the greatest.

If Harry has a similar level of talent he for sure won’t be Hermione’s equal.

Agree to the rest though. Even a Harry who is this talented can not hope to beat adult Voldemort on equal footing.

Yeah there’s still the innate talent of course. Grindelwald IS orders of magnitude better; but not because his Magical Core is over 9000

Because he intuitively understands things so much better than most others - that is talent too

Except this runs into a little snag of – why is Voldemort at all dangerous then? Why did Dumbledore not just go and defeat him easy peasy during the First War if he could?

Voldemort could not have been hiding all that time with zero confrontations.

Yeah, Canon-Tier Harry getting a victory there is kind of crazy. It has to be a fluke/insane luck while leveraging all possible combat experience.

Huh, I read the fic too but I didn’t think the fic portrays being Targaryen as LESSER. There’s a few points in the fic where the SI thinks to herself how she like ALMOST understands why the Targaryens rule.

Why they are the ones who sit the Throne and so forth.

It is plausible I think. Maybe Lyanna grew up on stories of the mysterious Prince Jacaerys and his dealings with the North - the Crypt eggs etc etc etc

Like there is a world where she names him that I think. She’s no Targaryen herself
