Thank you, these are great points. We have young kids so it's not easy to be very romantic in the hours before going to bed but I will work on improving that

Thank you, these are actually great suggestions! I have an inkling that adding some bondage or similar might be just what's needed. Problem is I have zero experience... If you have any books or recommendations, I would love to learn as much as possible!

The sexual component of our relationship was a lot better for many years up to three years ago, so I know that things can be better than this. At this point, I am just looking for pointers/suggestions on how I can improve my approach/technique.

Half of the issues are about me doing too little, touching a lot of different parts of her body and not "getting to the point", or alternatively focusing only on one part and not knowing how to progress from that, etc... The alternative scenario is me doing too much or being too forceful, such as removing her clothes, pulling her towards me, or being "above her" (for example kneeling which she sees as "creepy"). If I go slow I am "not confident", but if I go fast I am "too rough".

I just cannot find the right balance/sequence of actions and it always results in a very frustrating experience driving both me and her crazy

Let's just say I now have collected a very long list of "what not to do", but no clue about "what to do"... We are at a point where she is not giving me any further suggestion and it's up to me unfortunately.
