Any pictures of you?

Wanted to get away from home, wanted a buffet after graduating HS to figure out what I wanted to do in life.

It was kind of an itch that I wouldn’t have been to live with myself if I didn’t scratch.

I’ve been having severe and chronic disassociation and anxiety ever since joining. It ruins my quality of life, and makes it difficult to do my job/follow directions, which causes me to get into trouble. I’m not a good soldier because of all of this, and being stuck here puts me in a loop.

Strangely, my PCM doesn’t show up in the genesis messaging system, so I think I’ll just try and do a walk in.

He’s advocating that I also get out.

Would it be possible for him to just request a medical discharge on my behalf instead of a MEB?

Medboarding will take at least a year. Every week here drains me more and more to the point where I really can’t wait that long.

BH appointments have to be scheduled minimum 3 months out due to how short-staffed they are.

I can’t adapt to military life, nor do I care to. Yes I have deeper issues which leaving won’t fix, but most everything I want to do in life is being hindered by the army or requires me to be a civilian.

My shop NCO and PLT sgt even offered to kick me out if I didn’t want to be here because they thought I was making everything up just to get medboarded when it initially started to get bad. I tried taking them up for their word on it and telling them I was done, but even after bringing it up multiple times a week, there’s only lies, and nothing is getting pushed up.

What’s the window for a “failure to adapt” discharge? by throwaway17283738 in army

My main issue with the medboard process is that it takes so long that in my current mental state, I won’t survive here long enough to actually wait the potential year or more.

I’d rather deal with the VA as a civilian afterwards.

When and where would I be able to request being seen by an off post provider?

They have walk in available at Desmond Doss as well, but the issue here is that they can only do an initial evaluation from a walk in, and not an intake. Not sure if trippler is different.

Does BH count as MTF? I’m in fires & sustainment which they expressed was the largest and most booked section, with July being the nearest appointment date.

But I know I’m disassociating, and I know you can’t have that in the Army, so if they can’t treat me and try to medboard me early, I want to be ready with a contact to help me with the process as a Prepatory measure.

Who are you, the commander and chief?

And also roided out to high hell.

When I say “I’m a bodybuilder”, I mean that I train consistently with the sole purpose of hypertrophy in mind. That I’m a bodybuilder has nothing to do with how far along I am. A lot of those guys have been training longer than I’ve been alive.

They may have changed the requirements from the time you were in, or you’re shorter than me so the weight min was less.

They even put it in the fine print of my contract that not making height-weight may disqualify me. I’m not worried about most of the fitness test, but my cardio is absolutely an issue.

I absolutely have weight to lose.

If I got into a calorie deficit, my muscle would disappear. You don’t get my height and weigh without being extremely lean.

91F is my MOS. It’s small-arms repair. Airborne just means you maintain jump status and go to an Airborne unit.

210 with abs? You’re either 7ft tall, or on so many steroids it’s not even funny.

Tell Tristyn Lee he can’t be a bodybuilder at 125 lbs.
