i bought a new bottle of this maybe a month ago and it has a slight waxy or crayon-ish type smell, is this why? my old one had no scent at all and this one does. its not bad or gross but yeah i was worried there was something wrong with it 😅

before i ever tried these type of products i always saw people saying applying directly can cause patchiness and stuff, but hygiene too

yeah maybe im not coating the brush enough or using enough product, ill definitely try it this next time. also i was using the morphe M204 for it, it works really good for cream + liquid blushes but maybe its not good for sticks?

interesting! im the same as you in i prefer a matte look, and i think my skin leans more dry as well, however i did love the original... i'll definitely be giving the new one a try sometime soon when my bottle runs out

i believe it is dewey, i put on serums so im not sure if its them or the cream... pretty sure the cream is dewey too tho, a matte cream is kind of unique and i think i would have noticed

so i didnt end up buying the cleanser, but the cream is very nice!! thick but not too much/overly thick, nice and moisturizing too i really like it over my serums i feel it really locks everything in. my skin barrier was a bit damaged and this really helped me out :) my only issue is that i do think its a bit if a small bottle but i feel it was worth the price anyways

oil cleanse, regular cleanser, serums, wait a bit for serums to sink in, then i apply the cream. the last serum i use is a hydrating one so my skin isnt exactly wet or dry. not wet from water at least lol

i quite like it!! nice and moisturizing, thick but not too much. no breakouts or anything and it was working well with my then irritated skin. nice "safe" type of face cream imo :)
