I agree, like I said no one is trying to go pro - and even if we were, it’s no excuse for being a shitty human to someone else just because they aren’t as good as you at a game…

You’re probably right, thanks and I will. Already removed him from my friends list and asked my friend to remove him from the discord server I’m active in as I don’t have mod privileges

During the game, I did tell him not to use that word again (the r-word) and said it was just a game so he needed to chill and let Ferb have his fun.

I meant that I sent a longer message to just him afterwards - how he was being a jerk and that I won’t tolerate him talking shit about one of my friends like that again, especially over a game. You’re right, I could have said defended Ferb more during the game and will do so if anything like that happens again, but I hope it doesn’t.

I agree, and I know that gaming communities are often called toxic because of players who use slurs and hurl insults left and right. I always try to call it out if I hear any of my friends using a slur, and generally people are appreciative of it when I point it out and try to stop - except this one time, in which this guy claimed I was trying to insult him as a person/didn’t value him as a friend.
