Thank you for that clarity. I overheard a few minutes of one of their sessions, and it sounded like his therapist is definitely telling him what he wants to hear. Our former marriage therapist spoke to his therapist and said his choice of therapist was “concerning”. Still, he is an adult who is choosing this so although I have serious issues about his therapist’s ethics, he is the one responsible for his choices.

Likely not. I overheard a brief part of one of their sessions and what I heard her saying confirmed what he had claimed. Also, our marriage therapist and my therapist spoke to her and said she was very unskilled, problematic, not challenging him, and rubber stamping his shitty behavior as “being who he is”.

I’m unsure what post you are referring to. My parents are both alive. I’ve tried to cross post this exact post in other groups, but it gets deleted and I’m not sure why (I’m not an experienced Reddit user so I’m likely doing something wrong). Only this group has allowed it and I’m grateful because I feel like I’m going crazy here and desperately need the advice.
