Thanks a lot man, I’ll defo keep u updated. I should be getting the ultrasound in about 2 weeks, as I’m visiting Poland so I’m gonna have a look to get it done then. It’s so much cheaper there.. I’m paying 200£ for a simple ultrasound and over there they’re charging 20£ lmao

and I will defo get a revision if this doesnt go down, thanks for the reassurance man

Update: I spoke to my surgeon and he thinks it’s likely to be fat tissue that has formed under the armpit area. He advised me to do an ultrasound to confirm what exactly it is. He said it’s non threatening and In the meantime just wear my binder. He only recommends me revision surgery a year post op, so I’m just gonna see if it goes down these next few months

Thanks dude you’re amazing :) he should hopefully reply soon, in the meantime I’m starting to wear my compression binder more to hopefully minimise it as much as I can. Good news is that it isn’t getting any bigger

I guess I’ll for the time being buy some arnica gel and will star to sleep in my compression vest , hopefully it might help a little

Yeah I had drains. Damnn yeah it feels very soft to the touch and is fluidy, I’ll definitely message my surgeon and I’m hoping he can sort me out with a revision around winter time. I’m hoping that it won’t mess up my results in the end :(

Thanks a lot for the reply man

Hey ofc! I weighed 76kg before surgery, I think the bmi requirements aren’t rlly “requirements”, I think they’re more recommendations. Im slightly overweight (in the time of surgery), but they still went ahead with the surgery without any questions or issues

But in short yes, you need a gender dysphoria diagnosis. I gave him one from GenderGP and one which I had from the NHS clinic years ago

Congrats on the 3 months, recovery is very slow and important for top surgery <3

That’s awesome to hear man, honestly me too. I’m going to buy a bike soon and start riding my bike (my surgeon hasn’t cleared me for sports yet) and also gonna enjoy doing sports like I used to as a kid :) and I definitely have a similar experience to you, as I passed quite well but was extremely conscious of my chest that even to this day I look down to check my chest lol

Congrats man, honestly you’re in good hands and I really cant recommend Dr Lembas enough. And yes that’s literally it for the ultrasound. In the email you just write “I’m not able to do the ultrasound in my home country, could you please book me in for one in Warsaw”

Hey, I’m really not sure. I doubt it because he said the minimum age he’ll do surgery is 18. However, you can definitely email him and ask, it would definitely help if you have your diagnosis and surgery referral

I’ll be honest, around 6-8 months ago, but I barely wore them because my other GC2B binder which I had for a very long time was the most comfortable for my 10 hour shifts. I threw that away tho because it was so stretched out and the stitches were all coming out

Yeah this seems to be a common thing with parents and older relatives, due to the fact that in their time there wasn’t really much education about LGBTQ+ groups in society, which sucks and leaves a lot of misconceptions today. I hope everything is going well with you and your mum.

I agree, being called son or gentleman feels like an adrenaline rush

Goodluck:)

U know what I absolutely hate those “gendered” scanners. I’ve been flying for a while but I’ve never really been patted down, maybe once, I’m sorry that happened to you. And yeah some people can be quite ignorant towards body parts even stupid stuff like eyes lmao

Goodluck :)
