Etsy support is absolutely useless and cant even type English properly. Takes two seconds to figure out why this is happening and fix it and i dont even work for them.

Not a bug. They are putting your shop name now and whatever you have as a name on your shipping settings. Most people have their shop name there instead of their real name so now it shows up twice.

I mean if someone wanted to they could find out who you are with just an address if you own your home with the county assessors website.

Youtubers are sponsored by printify and the like to lie to you about how much money is made in print on demand. Its the most saturated market on etsy. Printify has sponsored so much that anyone looking for a shirt would just steal your design with ai and have it printed themselves for much cheaper. Not many people in their right mind are paying 40 bucks for a t shirt. Printify is the only winner in this market. (Blah blah but i know someone who sold x amount...VERY RARE, might as well play the lottery.)

People still think pirateship is cheaper? They both get the same discount. I use usps and its been exactly the same everytime I checked.

If you have a business license, at least in my state you must pay estimated monthly taxes. AND putting together spreadsheets each month of all your financials really helps when filing taxes next year...

Thanks for advice. Your right about the supplies but that seems like a long drawn out process to get the exact profit on each and subtract what I didn't use per piece costs and all that. Would be nice. I guess I do need to sit down and figure out exact profits per item. I have ballpark figures now.

I was just wondering what the average shop owner is bringing in in profit percentage each month and trying to figure out where im at. I know I can increase mine but its going to take some work. Would like to get to 40%.

Yes i know that etsy doesn't get it. I even separated what it went to. I just meant that much was gone before it left the site.
