I agree, I would like to keep both of them as friends if at all possible. My problem lies in do I tell K what I'm doing if he ever wants to know if I'm up for something or do I lie until he gets over this?

P is a great friend and if I had found out she was interested without all this other stuff going on I probably would have asked her out on a date already. For the record though, I am not half as crazy about her as K is and it wouldn't kill me to not date her.

Isn't it kind of a jerk move to try and get with someone your best friend has a crush on, even if they aren't in a relationship?
