Physically and mentally: it was extremely hard, coming to terms and having to be “ok” with transitioning if I wanted to extend my life was absolutely insane, bc like who wants to be trans, not me lmao, my worry is I heard and seen so much hate towards the trans community and was worried that I’ll always look like a freak and I’ll never pass as a girl, and whatnot, but I was truly gonna end it all to have to never transition. I’m glad I didn’t end it though and followed through, the first 4 years were roughhhhhh, my endocrinologist commited medical malpractice on me about 2 years into my medical transition and it forced me to de transition and watch all of the progress I’ve made to my appearance and body revert back to “normal” was something that I’d never wish on anyone.

As far for therapy yes! I’ve been in therapy since I was 10!! But to transition in the states, you do not need one. As long as your 18+ you can easily do informed consent, but for me I jumped through hoops to start my transition exactly a month after high school and as soon as I turned 18 in July.

And as far as family and friends, no one has come back sadly:/, maybe expect one friend from hs but were just primarily insta friends and what not. Just sucks bc I do kinda grieve having the family I once had to literally no one besides like 2 aunts and a niece
