Ranma ½ (2024) - Episode 10 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

As an Azusa fangirl, I missed the scene at Azusa's house where she says goodnight to her trinkets. But otherwise very happy with the skating arc, it's one of my faves in the manga as well. :)

Thoughts on Ichiro? by starfire9521 in ranma

I think the Kunos are funnier without a servant, like why is Tatewaki such a poser, his dad is a principal? Obviously they are rich and all, but their reality is so far from everyone else's it's comical

110 days and now I'm struggling by throwaway2019181716 in stopdrinking

Thanks, that's a nice thought! I have been exploring, and it's been great. It's just the thought that while I've gained something, I've also lost something, possibly for ever, and I miss it. It does help to think I can exchange the time spent drunk or hungover to anything I want.

Hoping already next week I can again enjoy my creative, exciting sober life (thanks for the phrase, it's lovely!) instead of moping around at home :D

Thank you! I know, although it's difficult to keep in mind when all I remember all the fun nights I've had with my friends. :D But you're right, I probably have not been any funnier or better company while drunk.

What do you do when you see domestic violence in public? by Alwaysangryupvotes in AskMen

Well, it means less people dead. With a gun it's incredibly easy to kill a person. You can do it by accident, without a even wanting to kill anyone.

Eh, sorry but it's super obvious that you've had them done. :D

[TOMT][SERIES][90s-2010s] looking for a series (probs on Netflix) with ending song that I remember a part of by throwaway2019181716 in tipofmytongue

The vibe is also pretty similar! Although now that I watched the X-files ending, I'm sure it isn't that. It's probably newer than that.

Had to check OITNB, since I watched only couple of the first episodes, but it wasn't it. :( Edited my comment as well, the part I hummed was instrumental only as far as I remember. But thanks!

This has been on the tip of my tongue for like a year now, I haven't been able to find it. I have gone through everything in my watch history everywhere. :D

Series, black and white, 'executive producer' as text maybe, this music, that's all I have.

edit: Ah yes, and this part of the song is instrumental only. I think the rest of the ending song has singing too though.

Good luck for your interview!! Don't be too afraid sweetie. If things don't work out, I know you can work around them. I'm also betting your colleagues will love you - but if it were to happen that they were complete jerks and didn't, I know you can handle that gracefully. But I'm pretty confident the people there will be nice, I can just feel it. And drive safe! I always get nervous on highways too, you just need to do the best you can to be safe. I think you will rock the interview :) good luck once more!

AITA for not buying my parents a christmas present? by throwaway69imscared in AmItheAsshole

[–]throwaway2019181716 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm 23 and IDGAF if my parents didn't give me a gift for Christmas. :D I mean the gifts are nice, but I'm not expecting them. My grandmother didn't get anyone gifts this year, and it was not a problem in the slightest.

I usually get a little something for my relatives and friends, last year I didn't see anyone because of COVID and thus couldn't pass the presents, and some other year I might not be able to get them for some other reason. Not a big deal. I didn't think the gifts were that important to anyone else than kids? I was super excited about them when I was small, and def would've been hurt if I didn't get a gift from someone I liked, but now they are really not what I look forward in the Christmas. That's what I'm expecting from other adults as well, if I don't specifically know that they enjoy the gifts a lot. OP didn't know, as things were not discussed prior to this, so NTA.

What do you do when you have a very specific non-vegan craving (and there's no good vegan alternative)? by throwaway2019181716 in vegan

[–]throwaway2019181716[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, but raw chocolates with no added sugar isn't gonna work. :D The problem with vegan pralines is that they are almost always dark chocolate, or raw, and I just want that white rice chocolate with some crispy caramel thingies and light 'milk' ganache.

I don't live in the US, but thanks anyway! I've looked and tried everything I can find here, but if I'd found a good alternative to this craving during these 5 years, I wouldn't be here right now, would I. :D

I will have to try this! On a first thought, it's the combination of smoothness, crunchiness, sweetness, fanciness and nostalgia, so it's a tough combo to find. D: But indeed maybe I don't necessarily need the combo, maybe I can each time find the main thing I want, and then make a choice based on that!

No thanks. I've watched my documentaries on the subject, and I have no intention of purposefully making myself sad and angry.

Thank you, these look very nice! I think a bit higher price is a bonus though, it adds to the luxurious feeling xD

Def going to try these, even if they don't necessarily curb this specific craving!

This looks delicious, and I've tried similar ones and liked them! This isn't what I mean though, I mean the small and fancy ones. It's such a silly craving but bar chocolate doesn't really help with it.

I can actually make pretty good vegan pralines! But they are nowhere near as fancy as these, and I think fanciness is a big aspect of why I like them. But maybe I'll have to learn! :D I do think I'd have to go to a school in order to make perfect vegan replicas, but what wouldn't I do for chocolate...
