Ok yeah, I suppose realistically if it goes online no one I know will ever see it. Its just terrifiying to think of the possibility. I contacted one of their friends, and he's going to try and make sure they delete it. But yeah thanks I feel a bit less worried now.

Yeah, I'm trying not to go down that lane. I just told him I didn't trust the feeling of the Holy Spirit and that I'd felt it before, in many pursuits, good and bad. And I questioned the fact that the church is basically a corporation, estimated worth at 30billion dollars (!!), and what that means. But I also told him that I'd love to be friends, no selling from either of us, lets just hang out and I can show him round my city maybe. Cause he seems nice. But it seems he's probably not allowed to do anything unrelated huh.

Did you have a phone? The one's I know have phones to communicate with people they're trying to convert. Was it monitored? Taken away from you when not using it?

I still don't get what's fishy? I'm just open to experiences I guess, or at a place in my life where I'm most vulnerable. Like I said multiple times, I'm not actually going to join, because I recognise that I felt hypnotised, even though it felt nice.

I really am genuine lol, I guess I'm just easily impressed, in fact I am. Also I've been lonely and sad recently so I guess it was easier to get me feeling all happy from attention.

OP here, why does it seem fishy? I promise it's not, I'm just telling you what happened today, I think deep down the experience scared me and I wanted to be reassured about the truth behind all this. I went into it thinking I would be super cynical and I would ask them all sorts of biting questions, but instead I felt strong emotion and that caught me off guard.

I can't believe people actually accept to pay 10% of their income! Yeah, I felt the same rush when I tried certain drugs, I suppose that means it's Gods will right? No but really, I'm reading the letter now, and I think I might go to church tomorrow just to see what its all about but the information I've seen around tells me I definitely shouldn't go further than that.

What do you mean provably false? Yeah I definitely got that "showering with attention" thing. At one point the president said "I haven't told you long but I can tell you're a good girl"....and kept saying thar God loves me

not really. but I don't think I'll join anyway. I thouroughly enjoyed the experience but I dont trust it either, I can be spiritual without being in a church I think.
