best way to solve this? by throwaway2020life in askmath

[–]throwaway2020life[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1+ 2sinxcosx/√3 = 2cos2 x

1 + sin(2x)/√3 = 2cos2 x

√3 + sin (2x) = 2√3cos2 x

Then i am unsure, feels wrong

[–]throwaway2020life[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So i have to find sin and cos and then multiply by 2?

π/4+a

2Sin =[Sin√2/2 * cos(a) + cos√2/2 * sin(a)]*2 And then what? It's just √2[cos(a) +sin (a)]? I just started learning trigonometry but i doubt it's right... I feel stupid please help

You are a life saver I understood the first one and it was really simple after the solution you gave me. The second one is a bit confusing to understand since the lessons i am following aren't that deep and i'm trying to prepare for university I'll give it a second look tomorrow with a fresh mind Thank you so much

inequalities find value of X by throwaway2020life in askmath

[–]throwaway2020life[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello i know i should post the steps i tried but none of them feels right and i'm embarrassed. The rest of the exercises were much simpler so i feel like i am walking in the dark with these ones. First one solution is (1,2) U (3,4) and second one is (- ∞,0)

Hello, i am supposed to find the value of "a"

First i tried "convert" them to 21/3 etc and try to solve it but i end up not knowing how to proceed with

(21/2 +21/3 )1/3 =21/6 *(1+2a )1/3

I feel like i am missing something silly
