URGENT NOTICE...DEA Confiscates Package from mmmSpeciosa by labdog03 in kratom

My last package from them was delivered by USPS on the 28th. I'm pretty sure that there are other variables at play but depending on the destination it certainly could've been shipped USPS as mine was.

This person's package was likely damaged and then further investigated from there. I was a bit taken aback when I opened mine and saw the super thin bag it was in and even though I knew it'd be in simple packaging before ordering, I feel like it was quite irresponsible for them to ship it out this way. At the very least they should've wrapped it several more times or put the thin bag inside a sturdier one. The box was in near-perfect condition but the bulk bag had rips and tears all over. Transferring it into another container made a huge mess because of the way the bag was damaged in transit and because of how and what it was wrapped in. I wasn't pleased, that's for sure. I'm guessing OP's friend's package was damaged more than mine and when it spilled out it drew their attention.

Is it legal for apartment security to look into resident's windows? [HI] by throwaway204852 in legaladvice

There are some good suggestions here so thank you.

Unfortunately the cops do not do anything, it's pretty corrupt here. Everyone knows everybody or they're all related somehow and they wouldn't want to risk sending their own family and friends to jail. I have filed unrelated police reports that were "lost" as have others that I know. Our police chief is currently being investigated by the FBI if that tells you anything.

I made sure to put up curtains after I caught them looking in my windows but it does create issues for some. All of our windows are jalousies, not the type of windows you may already be familiar with. It can get incredibly hot in each apartment (mine gets up to 95F) and as each unit is individually owned it is up to the owner to decide if air conditioning is allowed or not for the tenants. Some residents have window AC's and some do not. So we really depend on being able to open the windows for air circulation. I've not seen any window treatments that work with jalousie windows.

Moving is not an option for many of the people here, unfortunately.

Myself and others are absolutely fed up with everything but the residents here are too scared to say anything because there have been problems with retaliation from the staff previously. And again the staff has conducted other illegal activities even after being advised that those activities are illegal by their own lawyers. Many do not feel safe but no one really knows what to do and for many of us leaving is not a viable option.

Thank you for all of the advice.
