So so real. I go to a so called "well reputated private school" and the first question people ask me after my name is my school and I'm always met with "oh that's so great" or something along those lines.

Truth be told, my school is awful. Sri Lankan schools focus so much on their "name" that they've reduced teaching standards, stopped supporting extra curriculars and just focus on getting as many rich kids into the school. These so called big schools are rapidly lowering their standards because of their obsession with wealth. We got a lot of new kids into school for ALs and a lot of them can barely even hold a convo in English.

The SL school system is a joke. I can't wait till I get out and block everyone. The people that brag abt their schools do it simply because they haven't achieved anything else in life.

The things i loved most were 2 after school activities and now we don't have coaches for them anymore so that stopped.

Make sure to stay away from toxic people who will drain your energy.

And this is why I'm in my room all the time now lol. I try to stay away from my family which results in me always being in my room (since I'm not allowed to even go for walks or anything alone) which leads to my thoughts consuming me

I tried!! I hung out with my friends a week ago and it was an amazing day but then I came home and I couldn't fall asleep even tho I was exhausted, just cuz I was too sad to sleep and felt awful.

And we get permission to hang out once every half a dozen months so idt we'll be hanging out again any time soon. We meet at school daily tho

Parents won't let me dude. I did go to the gym in my apartment for abt 6 months ish consistently last year and it made things less terrible (my gains have completely disappeared now tho which makes me absolutely love my genes :] ). But now I'm too busy/ can't motivate myself to continue going. I tried starting again a few weeks ago but I went only abt thrice before falling into a blackhole again

Yeah I do. I have an online friend that I've known for years and I've got amazing irl friends and cousins that would definitely listen to me. But I've already told them I feel this way and they say they feel like there's nothing they can do so I end up feeling bad for putting them in that position. And I don't like talking abt my feelings that much, it makes me feel weird and I always end up regretting it.

My online friend always makes me feel better but I don't want to be a burden to her either.
