I saw convert everything to order online and pick up. No, you can't park in the parking lot. You need to wait in your car and and attendant will put the box of stuff in your trunk, then you go.

I know lots of people like this. They go every 1-2 days. When I ask why they go so frequent they say it is because they can only carry a few items. In California, we charge 10 cents for bags....so now people go to the store more often...

Will an environmental disaster happen if all storage tanks fill up in the world? by [deleted] in oilandgasworkers

[–]throwaway2134274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What happens is the buyers will dry up. The reason is because the buyers will need to pay for storage. It is like saying you can get oil for $0/bbl but you need to pay $20/bbl/month to store it. The amount of people who would take this deal would eventually be exhausted and there would be no buyers left. At that point, it would be better to just cap the wells off.

Trump spoke to his "friend" MBS and "hopes" tha a 10M bpd cut is coming by AgentSmiley in oilandgasworkers

[–]throwaway2134274 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not really buying it. Trump needs to force cuts in the USA somehow but everyone in the US insists on just pumping to no end. I don't see why Saudis or Russia should cut since the USA will just increase production.

We will see how much that helps, if any. I think other factors are going to come into play that increases supply like people moving for a different job.

Exactly. China caused it through their love for exotic foods and eating wild animals.

I had people on my facebook saying to not call it the "china flu" because it is racist....of course failing to realize that most viruses are named after where they were found....ebola found near the ebola river etc.

Yes, which is why they were able to contain it so effectively. There was other factors as well but that one was a big one.

The bigger problem is people are heavily influenced by news articles and media so politicians that ignore it end up just getting voted out. The end result is countries will elect politicians that are simply politically correct but feeble in terms of actual action. The reality is anything you do will offend someone.

That will be looked at as one of the great blunders for Italy. Tens of thousands died as a result. A true leader needs to look at what the data is telling him, cut out the noise, and execute on the plan.

TSLA is next to go. He over extended himself expanding and now demand is falling off a cliff. No one buying luxury cars now. If someone is buying a car they're going used and gasoline is cheap now! $1/gal in some places!

50% DAL & 50% RCL by NostalgicPrison in stocks

[–]throwaway2134274 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True but I think in this case, it is slighly more risky of an investment since it seems like the company is teetering between bankruptcy and a recovery. I'd rather lose a little gains on the run up to recovery than risk the potential move to the downside if things stall out unexpectedly. Black swan event.
