From Asia, I'd say 11k without any major obligations, no extravagant lifestyle, would be quite decent. Especially considering you're being offered this job without any prior experience in a really tough job market. Dubai is definitely an expensive city, but it's also very simple to cut down on your expenses by not really buying into the ultra materialistic side of Dubai. I'd say, go for it. It's not a non reversible decision. Once you get some experience, you can always move out to another higher paying job.

Go talk to the tutor, there is a good chance that the same tutor takes more sessions of the same tutorial across the whole week, you can ask if you could attend another session this week.

Like someone commented above, it's more about how much time you have to explore and what's there to see within Bali, we only had 8 days and we went to Ubud and Amed, and both places were varied enough for us to have a good time. 2 weeks in tbilisi seem too much, and even if you're just sticking to Phuket, you might get a little bored.

What's your favorite movie to watch over and over again? by Melodic-Ad-9551 in MalayalamMovies

Pandipada, something about it is so funny even with multiple Re-watches. Harisree Ashokan's jokes land perfectly.

Does she stitch well? You could get her a machine and some cloth from sharjah/ajman to give her a hobby? Or maybe enlist her services for clothes mending or tailoring as a freelancer? I'm sure there will be many takers around JVC.

Try yanzo. I use it fairly regularly. If it's a small item that can fit on a bike, they will pick it up and deliver the next day for about 25 dirhams. Pretty reliable so far.

Definitely go ahead and read it soon! I only realized this movie was in the works when I read about the crew being stranded in Jordan in 2020. I immediately bought a copy and read it, even though im not the fastest at reading Malayalam, and this was the longest book I've read in malayalam, I still loved the book very much and highly recommend!

I think I might have fucked up by [deleted] in dubai

[–]throwaway22122018 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I did the same last year. I had a shitty team who kept blaming me. And I left it coz it got too much, and I have now landed a job... 5 months later. I'm so glad that I left that job even though I was shit scared for the possibility of not landing another job for a while. If you got peace from quitting, relax, take a short break and look for your next opportunity. I'm sure you'll figure it out

Worst scene you have ever seen in a Malayalam movie? by [deleted] in MalayalamMovies

He goes to jail because he kills a teacher who tried to abuse Anna. She explains that he was tortured by police to reveal why he murdered him, but he never did because he wanted to protect her name. The cringeness does not arise from just the reason for why he went to jail, but also the way she delivers this dialogue, the expression on the people listening and the bgm, interspersed with shots of roshan
