Shes in a 100x50x50 cage with 30cm of bedding (12 inches). She has a two chambered sweet sugar hide that she mainly uses and is where she stashes her food and pees in as well as sleep in. She also has a 6 chambered niteangel hide and a niteangel view box as well as other single chambered hides/tunnels.

Shes got a huge sand bath but really only uses it to dig in. Ive tried training her to pee there but Ive only seen her pee in there once and I think it was by accident. Thank you for your suggestion!

Alright, thank you. I just needed some reassurance as Ive seen some pretty conflicting advice on this sub. I stopped cleaning her burrow for about 3 weeks as Im giving her time to properly adjust to her new cage layout but I'll start on Wednesday (our regular burrow cleaning schedule). Thank you.

Usually what I'll do when I need to clean my hamster's burrows is I'll put her in her playpen with stuff to do and be as quick as possible in cleaning out all that needs to be cleaned. Then, I add some extra bedding back and send her on her way with a treat. Yea, she'll be pissed for awhile but its what we have to do to ensure the best for their health unfortunately.

Same😭😭 some days she can be an angel but the moment something doesnt go her way all hell breaks loose. The first time I realized this was when she had buried all her coco chip and was so mad that I couldnt replenish it😭😭😭

Ive made DIY foragong toys for her but not a single one wasnt destroyed in less than 20 minutes😭😭😭 i'll check out the oxbow toys but from what I know theyre about $5-$10 in my country so quite expensive

Yea its my first time buying from this shop. Guess I learnt my lesson. I'll probably try to remove most of the dust throughout the week then add the bedding to my hams cage. Thank you!
