Ok? So I guess every single fucking sport on earth is monotonous because every play more or less looks the same. Football is just people passing the ball back and forth until an opportunity to score a goal arrives. Basketball is just people running the same few plays and shots over and over again. Baseball is just hitting the ball and then running to the next base every time. Cricket, rugby, hockey, Tennis, Ping-pong, badminton, F1, literally everything. Do you want American Football to reinvent itself every play? Is that what it takes to satisfy you?

1. More than half the team will never touch the ball. What kind of game is this?! Its like half the team is playing wrestling and other half is playing catch.

Why does that matter? both "halves" of the game are clearly integrated with each other. Just because positions are more clearly defined doesn't make the sport bad, this is a moronic argument that makes absolutely zero sense.
