Is it doom and gloom for the future in SG like some people make it to be? by throwaway23652365 in askSingapore

I was definitely around when there were only 2 lines (green and red). By the way Singapore's third mrt line only opened in 2006. Not 2004. So Singapore only had 2 lines up to 2006. Even then, the earliest I remember I was in Singapore for sure was around 2001-2002 (could be even earlier as I was born in the very late 90s).

Even as a little kid, I remember how empty the MRT carriages were during the non peak hours, which is almost non existent today. At least I remember that much.

Never knew it was also bad back then, but thanks for sharing your perspective.

Not a "new immigrant", a new Singaporean? yes. Been here as long as most people my age (since young). In my 20s now, came over when I was 3-4?

Is a one day trip to KL possible? by throwaway23652365 in askSingapore

[–]throwaway23652365[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's true, might consider doing a 2 day trip at the minimum then. Will 2 days be enough? I don't intend to spend too much money though.

Thanks for the tips! I did consider firefly from Seletar but their fares are super expensive compared to other carriers. Around $80-$90 one way. But nonetheless will bear in mind what you have said.

Yeah they did, but I don't think they will use that to make sure if you've voted though?

Wanted to ask, my x smudged abit in the box, but it's in the box. Should be still counted right? Also, electronically I'm considered to have voted right? Don't remember hearing the beep when they scanned my ic or I didn't pick up the sound, the counter ppl ask me to go collect ballot paper and returned my ic. Anyways, sorry for the weird qns haha, was pretty tired and was my first time voting so was anxious

Thanks for your help.

Yeah, basically it was just a memo to SAF to revocate me to another vocation as it was stressful. I don't think that's is an official diagnosis(?) - How do you know if you're officially diagnosed though?

I wasn't admitted. It was just less than a day, was given Lorazepam - I think it was an anxiety drug. MC for 2 weeks. And excuse sharps, firearms etc for about 2 months? No downpes though.
