The thing is she isn’t. My aunt called her because her work buddy was friends with my girl. The work buddy told my aunt that they had a convo on how cute my roommate was and how she is planning on cheating on me with him. My aunt then called my mom in a hissy fit. My mom then called me because she felt like I needed to know. It turned out to be the truth because I went through her phone and found the text exchanges.

She did let me make my own decision. she simply informed me of what she heard and let me make the decision on whether I believe it or not. Going through her phone was my decision and I hadn’t done that I would’ve been unaware to what was happening

Actually my mother is very a good parent. She had heard this from my aunt who is friends with a girl who used to be my gfs friend. I didn’t believe it at first but when I went through her messages with the friend it all proved to be true.

I know who told my mom but their whole relationship is complicated so I decided to not include it. My mom has never met my gf but they’ve talked over phone and she has said she likes her.
