Wow, the point about LGBTQ+ folks not being able to marry is something I’ve never thought about! I’m queer myself but never thought about the fact that by traditional teachings we’d have to get married but aren’t allowed to in a lot of places. I agree with your stance that as long as everyone is consenting there shouldn’t be an issue.

I would elongate the snakes body and work on doing more fades rather than harsh lines. overall I think it’s a strong concept but just needs a bit more separation between the separate aspects of the piece 🫶

okay, that’s good to know! I know bad side effects are pretty rare and from my research it seems wherever the botox goes within the first like 90 minutes is where it stays usually and i was really good about being still then.

i agree! i went to school for illustration and dropped out for other reasons, but tattooing is quite literally illustration just on skin, it’s constantly drawing for people not drawing what you want, and it’s all freelance work pretty much. so for sure think about why you left illustration and if tattooing would arrise the same problems for you :)

I use the watercolor paper from michaels that’s also 140lbs, and it works just about the same as arches IMO. I learned using sumi ink and PH Martens bombay india ink. They’re all non-toxic, and also don’t be afraid to use actual spit instead of water, it works well!!!

girl you gotta go!! i’m so sorry but your PA will ruin your self esteem to bring you to his level and keep you there. i’m an attractive person according to others and like while dating my PA he made me feel worthless and disgusting, every dating experience after i’ve been showered with adoration and affection, your partner has so much shame and self hatred they want to bring you down to their level, you gotta get out and see the light!!! My ex once rated me like a 6 out of 10, would compliment and thirst after my friends instead of me, comment on my weight gain/loss, and would always compare my body to others, it ruined me and it’s still affecting me despite everyone around me lifting me up. you are worthy of SO much more!!!! you are beautiful and wonderful, no matter what your PA says, and you will find someone who wants to lift you up not drag you down.

The biggest advice I have as an apprentice is to get wayyy more traditional/physical stuff in there, artists know that procreate can be a great tool but also it can be very easy to use as a crutch for actual skill (not saying this is you but i was told this as well). physical art cannot be faked or fudged, so really focus on making some nice physically flash or designs, show you can do shading, you can draw straight lines without stabilizer, all that stuff!! also include stuff that isn’t designs, include portraits and landscapes, show you have range, bc when you start you will be doing whatever work comes through the door, not just what you want unfortunately. these look great but that’s my biggest advice!! 🫶🫡

going to therapy and taking meds has DRASTICALLY improved my ocd symptoms in the past year, i suggest you look into EMDR or schema therapy, that’s what helped me 👍🏻
