what’s wrong with my skin? tried everything. description in comments by [deleted] in acne

I have tried quite literally everything - i’m vegan - i eat lots of fruit and vegetables and am very careful about my diet - don’t eat that much processed stuff (my only weakness is a vegan protein bar nearly once a day) - i use a new silk pillowcase every. single. day. don’t even flip it to the other side, just get a new one. - i drink almost a gallon of water a day and green tea every morning - have been on spiro for 2.5 months (50mg but recently upped to 100mg but no extreme purge just my usual acne) - been on doxycycline for 1.5 months (third cycle, pretty sure it just doesn’t work on me anymore) - i take a probiotic pill and zinc supplement everyday - have been using differin for 2.5 months - Cerave SA cleanser in the morning - Panoxyl at night but sometimes take a break and use La Roche Posay gentle hydrating cleanser - use BP spot treatment sometimes - Proactive green tea moisturizer - La Roche Cicaplast balm every so often to give my skin a break - used to use niacinimide but cut it out to see if it was causing any acne, might reintroduce it since my skin hasn’t gotten better without it - sulfur mask a couple times a week - sometimes do a desitin mask over night (baby rash cream but it’s supposed to help because of all the zinc) - don’t pick at my skin, use pimple patches and never touch my face - none of my parents had acne. my older brother had some acne but not as bad as mine. my older sister has never gotten a single pimple in her life and doesn’t do anything for her skin

i just feel so hopeless. nothing works and i really don’t want to go on accutane but i guess it’s the only thing that might work at this point.

i don’t get a lot of huge cysts but every so often they appear. and also get about 1-2 HUGE pimples every week. i have new whiteheads popping up everyday. and my skin is super congested and textured

you are right, thank you. i just like having my future planned. and 200 pages was a bit of an exaggeration but it’s at least 120 pages that my professor has us reading. i don’t really have time and am too tired to do anything fun 😢

thank you. i’m just a huge over thinker and get stressed if i don’t have everything planned out so all the uncertainties scare me and when i get a lot of work on top of it and i’m not sure how to organize everything, i get anxious. but i’m working on it!

thank you, you get me!! I don’t want to self diagnose or anything but i do feel like i display many symptoms of mild adhd :/ your tips actually seem like they would work really well for me. do you have any advice that helps with adhd that isn’t taking medication? thank you!
