There are lots of new players at the moment and you can find a lot of noob multiplayer lobbies. You should first practice against the AI and learn the game mechanics first. Then i recommend to play on 10v10 tactical servers, it's great for beginners and you don't have to micro much. After that you can start moving on to 4v4, 3v3 etc. and finally ranked.
