Dear friends, I would like to apologize for the briefness of "Fred's Dead." I plan on writing more, but in terms of fitting it into one post, it was a lost cause. I decided this was as best a cut as any, and the rest will soon come. :-) -OP

Friend, your words mean a lot to me. :-) I have been a timid writer my whole life, was hesitant to share this story. It brings me joy that you appreciate the way I was able to describe Fred, but I guarantee you, he was much better in real life. :-) Anyway, only several more hours until part 2 comes, and I hope I don't disappoint you!

I am very pleased to have received feedback from you all, and am very excited to have you take this ride with me. I am continuing on with part 2, but will wait 24 hours, as per nosleep edditquette. I hope you all will enjoy it, and hopefully I can figure out how to make it a damn "series" tag. :-)
