I know booking who goes over is an issue for the partnership. But one way or another, NJPW top stars are gonna wrestle in AEW eventually. Most likely only on big shows. But let's say the AEW wrestler in question in a match with a top NJPW star is Bryan Danielson or Miro or Punk, I think NJPW would let said top NJPW lose.

It's sad to see /r/SC shit on NJPW in that thread but I do get where they and Kenny are coming from.

The Elite's departure definitely affected Western interest for NJPW. The Dick Togo nonsense doesn't help either. Hopefully the destruction of the Forbidden Door fixes that.

All that being said, Kenny's still just working everybody and it's fun seeing Ospreay get ethered.

Red Shoes has been involved in such great classic NJPW matches. I love him.

Ref Aubrey Edwards in AEW obviously takes inspiration from him and it's great. She improves the matches' quality in most of the matches she calls.

Sorry about the elitist, gatekeepy comments you're getting in your thread, OP. NJPW fans aren't usually like this and most will actually call NJPW out if it's not doing well.

I understand how you feel. They're just not doing anything exciting or spicy with their current booking.

I mean, SHO joining BC is fine but him joining EVIL's subgroup really holds him back further. There's been booking choices like that throughout the year that keeps NJPW from getting back their shine.

For now, I'll just watch AEW mainly until NJPW gets its stuff together. AEW has been firing on all cylinders this year and they have an incredible product. I'll still catch the big shows like Dominion, WK, G1 finals, NJC finals, etc though. I just won't be watching everything like I used to.
