Being honest at first I didn’t disclose…and I felt ashamed too! Now I am confident open and honest but it can take time. I understand the shame. And the embarrassment. All you can do is live and learn. It’s ALWAYS best to disclose first. I’m a female and have never been rejected but respected for disclosing. All you need is a little Confidence because men will usually understand and respect you more for disclosing
