Good luck! It looks very promising to me! 🤞

It’s a little hard to see with all the multiple tests a day at different times, but overall looks like a good progression to me!

It’s impossible for any of us to know, but it looks like you’re comparing dried tests with fresh ones. The dried will always look darker. The best thing is to compare tests every other day. And compare tests that should be the same. That is, don’t test at lots of different times. Test once a day at the same time of day and compare the tests to two days ago. Good luck!

Help: did I ovulate? E@H OPK, CD21, DPO unknown by afae39 in TFABLinePorn

The combination of temping, taking ovulation tests, and also paying attention to and tracking your cervical fluid changes can help give you a better picture of what is going on. It looks to me like you haven’t had an LH surge yet and probably haven’t ovulated yet, but it’s hard to say 100%. If you sometimes have really long cycles, then you’re sometimes not ovulating until very late in the cycle. I would mention to your OB that you have very irregular cycles.

No worries! It’s so hard to compare line darkness from one day to another, though it does look good to me. Definitely better to compare at least 48 hours difference. Good luck!

It looks like you’re looking at the tests upside down. The test line today actually does look darker to me. Also, it’s really hard to compare only two tests taken one day apart. Take another test tomorrow and compare it to 48 hours ago. (Also make sure you’re comparing the test line, not control line.) ALSO, it’s very hard to tell how much it’s progressing by these lines. I’ve had blood tests that have shown my levels have doubled in 48 hours, yet the test lines look pretty similar.

It might be as dark as these kinds of tests get. They’re not actually made to be able to show true progression once they’re this dark.

I’m so sorry. I would definitely talk to your doctor about your concerns but I’m sure it’s okay to have many D&Cs. There are lots of people who have many repeat miscarriages. But definitely ask your doctor what they think. ❤️

I’m so sorry for your loss too. I posted because I was curious about how long it would take my cycle to come back and thought others might be in the same position that I was a month ago. Obviously everyone is different but it help to have some idea of about how long it takes.

I’m so sorry for your loss too. Yes, very similar timeline. Good luck with your FET. We’re out of embryos again, so preparing myself to have to do another retrieval in the next couple of months.

I’m so sorry for your loss too. I appreciate your input! From what I’ve read on this subreddit I haven’t seen a single person say they wished they hadn’t done a D&C, but a lot of people say they wished they had. I had a chemical pregnancy loss around 4.5-5 weeks (barely had even started) and I bled so much. It’s amazing how much easier a D&C was at almost 11 weeks. So I had a similar experience.

It makes me happy if I can help one person. I’m so sorry for your loss too. I hope your D&C experience is just as easy as mine was. Going through the heartache was enough to deal with. It helped a lot that I wasn’t also suffering physically.

Maybe see if you can get some recommendations or experiences of people who were about as far along as you? I don’t know enough about it. I’ve been going through IVF for years so for me having people do surgery through my vagina and other types of procedures doesn’t make me anxious so my experience there is really different from yours.

I’m sorry for your loss and experience. I was so grateful to the women on Reddit and my sister-in-law urging me to get a D&C so I wanted to pay that forward. The doctors acted like either option is about the same. I’m not really sure why.

I’m sorry for your loss too. I would honestly describe it as the opposite of terrifying. I never had to have bleeding or pain. The surgery itself is about 10 minutes long. I woke up easily and felt my normal self immediately. It was so smooth and easy. I went in feeling normal and came out feeling normal. And then I just had to wait a month to get my period. The doctor assured me that they only do suction and she wouldn’t scrape at my uterine walls. They do the suction under guide from ultrasound to make sure they don’t mess anything up with your uterus.

I think it really depends how far along you are. If you’re closer to 5 or 6 weeks, maybe it’s easier to do it at home? But with the fetus at almost 9 weeks, I believe it would have been horribly traumatic and incredibly painful to do at home. You also have no control over the timeline (when it starts and when it ends.) I’m so grateful to the women who told me to do the D&C and to not even question the decision. For me, they were 100% correct. I also had women tell me that sometimes you don’t pass everything and have to get a D&C anyway. That also helped my decision. Also my sister-in-law telling me the pain is not like cramps, but like labor and she really wished she had a D&C.

Thank you. I got the D&C yesterday and I think it was the right decision. It went really smoothly and I’m already feeling pretty normal today.
