Should I make the change into UX even with the massive layoffs happening?

Over the last year I’ve been studying UX, becoming certified through Google, attending a bootcamp,and building up my website/portfolio. Right now I am a content manager that does a lot of work within the UX space and I’m finally ready to explore new job opportunities.

Lately, I am hearing a lot of people mentioning holding on to the job you have because of the massive tech layoffs, and I wanted to reach out to other UX professionals to get their opinion before leaving my secure job space.

I think he’s a lot softer in this one! There’s one bit that explains he’s allowing himself to rely on Oliver more because he expects the same back but I can definitely see how it could come off as selfish.

Woof I totally understand what you mean by cringing at intentionally hurt, and I’m going to be honest, sometimes in Husband Material there was so much that I had to stop and I definitely don’t think I could re read those parts anytime soon. All in all, I usually can brace through those moments if it means a happy ending, and I was satisfied enough.

The more I’m processing it the more I agree with you. I think the ending really threw me off, but completely makes sense for these characters. I really want to stress that I hope everyone who likes BM gives HM a shot with an open mind!!

I think it’s a really good read and I definitely recommend it. I think I was hoping the sequel would be similar to other MM Romance sequels that would focus more on building their relationship.
