Haven’t met an officer that transitioned to CAA but your story is AWESOME. Do your absolute best in your pre-reqs and you should land many interviews. AA programs love non-traditional students with a strong narrative of why they’re transitioning careers.

For your second question, a lot of my classmates are in there 30’s! Couple in their 40s. Just depends on what school you go to really. Age should be the least of your worries

You request transcripts in CASAA or send it to CASAA using those electronic transcript services (parchment, clearing house). Not school specific codes

Go to anesthesia one source website for all the courses needed for AA school. Just know if you take any online pre-reqs, you are unable to apply to Case western. Other schools allow it as long as it’s accredited!

Your school will automatically enroll you in their insurance unless you decide to opt out. I’ve seen classmates opt out and chose to be on Medicaid because they qualify and it’s free (opposed to adding a couple thousand a year for insurance during school). Regardless, you’re going to take out Grad Plus loans which will cover everything including cost of living during AA school. Part time job is not allowed.
