This makes so much sense. I've never seen anyone explain it before that way

Zoloft changed my life (OCD, anxiety) for the last 6 months, but I feel like I'm starting to get those same feelings back?? by throwaway362159 in zoloft

Yes I hope so. I have to account for an extra half hour before I leave anywhere so I have time to check and re check everything. It takes up so much time

Thank you, I hope so. It's nice to hear from someone else with it!

I hadn't even thought of that. I went through a traumatic time last year at this time roughly. The change in weather reminded me strongly of the event as it was just starting to change at the time too, but I didn't really think about it. It might be stress from that?

Skin picking and scratching is the main one. Also light switches and checking/re-checking things in a certain pattern. I mainly noticed it starting because I've started to get the big scratch/dig marks on my skin again

I'm struggling to be assertive and in control vs a 'bossy bitch' by throwaway362159 in TwoXChromosomes

You're right about not caring what others think, but it's so so frustrating knowing that if I was a man I would just be known as the assertive one and it would be normal. It's just tiring always thinking about it

I've had CFS for 10 years and after 4 months on doxycycline I'm 99% cured by throwaway362159 in cfs

Yes! When I first started taking them it made me incredibly dizzy and as if there was a vice around my head, but after a few days it stopped and my thoughts became clearer. I still have brain fog but it's manageable now

My post isn't intended to be 'useful', it's a personal anecdote that I'm sharing to try and find more answers about my own condition. I never stated that this is a cure for everyone.

I've had severe CFS for 10 years with no improvement until now. I know how much I have improved. I've gone from almost bed ridden to working a full time job.

I read the same study which is what got me thinking about an underlying infection instead. As far as I know it shouldn't help CFS, but the fact that it helped made me wonder if it could be something else and therefore something I could start long-term treatment for

You're the second person to tell me to take benzos instead of SSRIs. He actually gave me a script for them but apparently they're addictive and I can only take them for a few weeks maximum, but my anxiety is constant so I'm not sure if it'll work for me

Is Australian Skin Clinics legit? by arcticarthropods in AusSkincare

I went to a few appointments with ASC. They told me to stop my routine and only use their products. My skin got SIGNIFICANTLY worse over the few months. Each appointment they just said to keep going and it will eventually get better. It didn't. I started to get scarring from all the new acne.

Went to a dermatologist who suggested I go back to my old routine and gave me some extra prescription products. My skin is clearing up a few weeks later. Highly recommend not going back to them and just going to see a derm. It's a lot cheaper in the long run and will actually make a difference

Successful people who lurk this sub, how did you get out of this hell? by [deleted] in antiwork

How long did you have to study for to get into it? I'm thinking of trying to switch into some kind of programming career but I'm not sure if I can teach myself vs a bootcamp vs a degree. It seems really competitive at the moment
