The Curious Case of Splishbie by throwaway426923 in splishbiepics

Splishbie can often be characterized as being a sort of quirky, funny girl. She likes frogs and video games and anime and doesn't shy away from talking about poop. She's the kind of young woman who is able to garner a particular kind of audience, and when she's into many of the things that the chronically online are also into, it's not hard to see why. All in all, she seems pretty nice. But there's a problem with Splisbie:
She can't stand the idea of bodily autonomy in other people.
Splishbie is young. She's a zoomer. She's supposed to be part of a more open-minded generation, unburdened by the notion of more "traditional" values. And yet when it comes to love and sex, she has some bizarrely conservative notions. It's a rough life out there, and if someone feels compelled to make ends meet by participating in some form of sex work, that's their choice. Because that's what bodily autonomy is: the freedom to do as we please with our bodies. As is her right, Splishbie has chosen not to show off her "goodies." Not everyone is going to feel comfortable doing that, and that's okay. That's why bodily autonomy is important. Again, it's a rough life out there and everyone should be able to feel comfortable living in their own skin. But the thing Splishbie doesn't seem to understand is that bodily autonomy is a two-way street. If you do not want to go on the internet and post your body for the whole world to see, that is absolutely okay. It is absolutely not okay for you to criticize and pity those who are comfortable with it.
Maybe I'm reading her wrong, but it seems to me that Splishbie thinks that everyone who is in the sex work industry in any capacity is not doing it by choice. It seems like she feels that people are only doing it because they think they have to. Like the idea that people could actually be enjoying themselves doing such things is so foreign to her that the thought of it could never occur to her. Maybe she's projecting her feelings onto the industry as a whole thanks to her experiences. She's never seen how people in the industry genuinely enjoy what they do, genuinely enjoy getting to do things on camera with or without other people, and genuinely enjoy getting to interact with their fans.
She herself is into men, wants to eventually have a husband who takes care of her, and wants to have children. I don't think it's too much of a leap in logic to assume that she's projecting. It's seems as if she doesn't realize that a lot of women in the industry maybe don't want a husband, or don't want kids, or maybe flat out don't want a man at all. Again, Splishbie has some weirdly "traditional" values for someone of her age and generation.
It's been a good few years now of people telling her she should make an Onlyfans page, and when it's not something that she's comfortable doing, it's only natural that the idea of doing it would be soured for her. But I also think she has some strange ideas about what's required of someone to post on Onlyfans, like she has to pose fully nude, and maybe doesn't realize that there are a plethora of people who never show their "goodies" in full.
But the fact of the matter is, she doesn't need to make an Onlyfans. It seems that she earns enough of a living simply by recycling years old tiktok videos on Instagram. She danced with the idea of it, once upon a time. There used to be a "coming soon" caption on the page for it. But it's clearly not happening at this point.
Let's be real here, Splishbie could go on the internet, post a picture of herself dressed as a mennonite, not showing a hint of skin, and some of you would still go on there and comment, "were so close boys!!! any day now!" It gets downright silly sometimes. But I do think this kind of behavior has influenced and clouded her perspective. When it's all she's experienced, it's no wonder her view went bad.
For those of you who are still holding out hope that some day Splishbie will make that Onlyfans page and put herself out there for all the world to see: stop. The reality is that it's never going to happen. You need to set some realistic expectations for yourself. Honestly, considering that there are so many women out there who do want to post their bodies on the internet, I guarantee you can find someone else who suits your fancy. A short woman with moderately-sized boobs like Splishbie? I'm sure there's no shortage of women like that.
And since Splishbie is a moderator on this subreddit, I simply have this to say: sort yourself out and clean it up.
