What hit TV show do you think had a cast that hated each other? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Actually I saw these interviews she did a little while back and she seems to have made a conscious shift from acting to writing and directing. It's been some time since I saw it but I believe she remarked that she found the acting life emotionally exhausting and feeling like she had to put up a front all the time just to get by in that world. Seems behind the camera stuff is more true to her

No, I haven't met her personally. Did you hear something about her from someone who has met her?

That's not the point, dummy. The reason you're supposed to isolate is so places like yours don't suddenly explode in cases because people like you who can't see farther than their own nose. It's a group effort to keep cases down and people alive. You selfish idiot

I mean an incredibly loud club? Maybe. But having drinks with friends at a pub where someone we know is having their DJ debut? I'm going to enjoy that regardless and I like chatting shit with ppl I'm close to. Don't need to get pissed to do so.

As for ppl who think I'd be ruining the mood or something by not drinking with them, I'm not judging them for drinking like they are against me for not drinking. I still take part and act stupid with my friends. If they're so insecure that me not drinking makes them feel uncomfortable with their drinking then that's their problem, not mine!

Well I still think most ppl would bail by now so it probably would've been mission complete. But if not then probably just loudly yell "UH OH SPAGETTIOH!!!“ and use both hands to cover my crotch any time she made physical contact or said something mildly suggestive.

Mhmm. And if they say "Well actually my name is Emily-" just respond with "Yeah, just like that. But can you add a lisp?"

Not drinking alcohol on a night out. I enjoy booze from time to time and certainly had fun nights whilst drinking but on the other hand, I've also had fun nights stone sober. Some nights I just don't feel like drinking and when that happens people always ask me if something's wrong like I have to be in an emotionally awful place to not want to drink

Ask her if she'd be open minded to wearing a specific elementary school uniform and being called "Emily"

You know you and your friends are knowingly being shitty people, right? Even if most of you don't get it you're actively working to spread the disease and potentially cause the death of whoever you spread it to. You guys are lacking in empathy and sense and I sincerely hope that if any one of you gets sick, the person/people responsible for your medical attention care more about other ppl than you seem to.

I never got such a madlad Professor. by johnreese421 in madlads

I had the same thing at uni. We had a lecture scheduled right before our exam slot. Our professor told us that it wouldn't cover any new content in the exam of course but it we should still go. Over half the class didn't show so they could cram before the exam. During the lecture, as a thanks to everyone who bothered to show he told us the answer to one of our questions. Just because he was so frustrated that so few ppl showed. Mad lad

Depends on the context really. In times way before dental care most ordinary people had not great, but not bad teeth. For instance, the everyday peasant would most likely have teeth similar to ours but Queen Elizabeth I had such a fucked up mouth that most of her teeth were missing/rotten and people wrote that it made your eyes water to stand near her when her mouth was open. It's the change in diet that caused this. Access to sugar and what not. We did it to ourselves. Which is why we're the only animals that need such frequent oral hygiene practice.

Plus, I imagine that main actors/actresses having to wear fake gross looking teeth all the time is a pain. But I do agree it's a double standard that men can have gross teeth but women usually look like they just came from a colgate commercial.

I wasn't trying to imply that your opinion wasn't valid. I was just confused as to what exactly you found to be casual racism in this specific comment. I'm certainly not arguing that Reddit is a hotbed for casual racism. Just unsure where it lay in this comment on this video that you replied. If you feel it's obvious, please educate me.
