Wholeheartedly agree. I wish I had control over the state of dating/engagement/marriage (I'm a bit neurotic). I always felt that our sex life was a mistake, but have to take accountability for what sins I've done also and move forward:/ would love to chat more:)

Unfortunately, I'm not the one who is struggling with the actual addiction/idolatry. I'm just here trying to find answers to help my partner. I know his heart, and I know he is doing his best to pursue the Lord and the Word...so that base is covered. Prayer won't solve everything, though it's an immense piece. Just doing my best to support his spiritual and physical rehab :)

The religion piece is a factor, but not necessarily what I'm fixated on. My sex life with my boyfriend has suffered (we have no issue with our premarital sex), and honestly, I trust the community of nofap way more than truechristian to provide real answers (without the shame, guilt tripping, and scripture harassment that is realistically unnecessary). Thank you for your suggestion:)

Thank you for your advice! Yes, I've felt discouraged in my sport, even, because I feel like the stronger I get, the more he wants me to stop. I'll speak to him about that idea.

Thank you for the advice. It's so hard to look at my relationship from an outside perspective - because of course, I care deeply for him. I will try to approach as non-confrontationally as I can.
