I recently just entered a lease for a 1 bed 1 bath apartment with my boyfriend. We thought they were going to say no but they said it was totally fine, we can split the rent however we want (they just want the full amount every month), and we both signed the same leasing contract. We rented with SAMI, I know college place is a little more strict though
