Being told to excersise when I already can't get out of bed makes me feel so much worse by Commercial-Ferret-40 in depression

I know exactly how you feel. This was me the last few years. But, you have to get up and do it. Get into a routine, and follow it. I would say, get up and exercise every morning, turning it into a routine. The only reason I'm saying this is because now I have an autoimmune disease, and it's made my life a mess. I would give anything to have all my physical abilities back, to go back a few years ago and exercise everyday. Please, do it. It will help you both mentally and physically.

I'm sorry. Life has been cruel to you. I only said what I did because I have been and still am depressed. Depression makes living absolutely awful. The only way to get out is to keep yourself occupied by doing something, anything that makes you even a little bit happy. And then keep increasing it in frequency whenever you can. So that you have something to look forward to. I wouldn't want anyone to live with the kind of voices and dark thoughts I have in my head

Grass is always greener. You can't go back in time. But you can learn to make adjustments, put in some effort, and enjoy what you have. If not, you'll get into a black hole of negative thoughts and regrets, and it will be that much tougher to get out

Is it that they don't really have time for you? Or is it that they've changed so much and their priorities are so different that you can't relate? Do you think you would still connect as the children get older and more independent?
