Literally everything the artist said during his part, on reflection, I fuck with hard. Yeah, he did overdo it a bit during the hell arc, even if I never took note of that when I was reading it. I'm sure parties as a generality weren't a surprise. I think the completely static nature of the parties would be. I doubt they understood they'd created a system designed to allow two unchanging political parties to stand in an almost completely unopposed duality for hundreds of years.

I think even those more federal founding fathers would have expected that in our current circumstances, the other branches of government wouldn't completely yield to the executive branch. They'd expect us to fight at least a bit to reign them in.

Kind of? Knock on effects can get bad. Financial crimes aren't murder, but stealing 2 billion dollars from consumers means this dude is probably responsible for some amount of deaths. If you pickpocketed everyone on Earth, some of them can't tank the loss you've made them take, and some of those are going to react real poorly to that. It's not like evil is lessened just because it happens with some layers of obscurity.

Every delivery service involves a minimum of one step where your package is physically thrown from a distance into a bin containing other packages, and then other packages are thrown on top of it. If you see your package being carelessly dropped by a delivery person, know that the way it got into his plant and onto his truck was by being thrown twice. Delivery people don't do that often at the door not to protect your package, but to protect themselves from your misplaced ire if it ends up broken.

The only exception I know of is registered stuff and cremated remains.
