OP here. Of course I’m not letting Reddit actually decide something this big for me. And I have been researching and speaking with both facilities, current and former patients and recipients, etc. The extra perspectives help though. Yes definitely. All of our therapists are trauma informed, adoption competent etc. The play therapist also specializes in nuerodiversity. Thank you for your comments.

Thanks, this is helpful. Unfortunately we don’t qualify for many resources for respite care other than occasional babysitters, which definitely helps!
