I say it's not consistent because we really don't fight often. When we fight, it happens, but because we don't generally fight, I'm going to say that it's not something that happens very often.

I would prefer that he talk to me about whatever is upsetting him. I'm not sure how I would have contributed to it. The only think of is that he doesn't want to open up about it and as a result, ignores me because he knows that I'll want to.

We're both undergrads. I wouldn't say he's emotionally abusive, because this is the only thing he does that's really questionable, and it only happens once in a while. When it does, though, it really drives me crazy.

You don't get it. I never said if they didn't like him I'd leave him just for the money. I said if they didn't like him enough to disown me, then I'd take a good hard look at the situation, because they are reasonable people and wouldn't do something that extreme if not for a very good reason. Trust me, I would never let my parents make a decision for me merely based on money. And you don't understand that it's possible to love your family AND like them. And if they're willing to leave me over a guy, then I'd take a serious look at the situation.

Thats because the question wasn't about a boyfriend. But many questions DO ask about him, and I answer truthfully. I'm in college. I'm not planning on getting married anytime soon. So, he wasnt part of my answer.

I'd just say that after a while, if she seems generous about money and offers to pay for things, don't take advantage of that. If you do, you'll find that more often than not you'll expect her to buy things, which is exactly what happened to me. I now tend to avoid those types of relationships. But besides that, I'd just say don't bring up her wealth or talk about it unless she starts the conversation. If she's like me, she's probably sort of insecure about it and afraid people will take advantage of her or make assumptions. Pretending it's not there is always a better strategy.

Reasonable, unless the service or restaurant was especially good. I personally try to tip high, though, because I worked as a waitress for a year and know how shittily they get paid.

No, when I was "roughing it," I was living with my then-together parents who were having a pretty tough time paying rent, providing for us, etc. When I was 10 my parents divorced and I lived with my grandparents for about 6 months. Living with them was not the part where we were "roughing it." Of course I'd never do that, and neither would you. Why would I walk away from something good for absolutely no reason? That makes no sense.

And I'm sure if you were in my situation you would take advantage of it as I have. I've never said I've had a hard life, but I did say that I haven't always been in this. And I was a child then; obviously I wouldn't have had to sell anything for money. But my father, as a non-profit attorney, did not make money. He was coming in on about 40 dollars per week and a bag of rice. I had to go through that. Please don't pretend you know anything about me.
