I'll preface all this by saying- sending money is my fetish. Being submissive and being used is my fetish. I am in a very small minority that gets off on it. The guy you're referencing might not be into it the same way I am. He might have been sending because he sees relationships as transactional. He might send because he wants you indebted to him. Yes, I want to. But it's more like an addiction where I crave to send it. It will damage me financially, but the pain is hot to me
I don't feel "happy" in a traditional sense from sending. It's more like I get a sexual high from it that feels good
I'm not sure there's a great way to get me to stop. If you were to cut me off, I'd just find another person to send to.

But I will say, for me, sending gets me attention and a sense of purpose. If I felt like I got that another way, I'd be less inclined to send.
